Biography

David Wilson, DMD, MD, is a Craniofacial Surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He completed his doctorate of medical dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University. Graduating near the top of his class, he then matched in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During his training he received his medical doctorate at University of Michigan's medical school. Following residency training, finished a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery. Currently, Dr. Wilson is part owner of Kalamazoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. David Wilson is the surgeon for the Western Michigan Cleft and Craniofacial team. He is interested in growing this team and improving care for children born with facial differences. He is also interested in research and medical education. He also currently travels internationally to perform cleft and craniofacial surgery through Healing the Children in Colombia.
