Biography

Dr. Nicolina Smith earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wayne State University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and Master of Science in Clinical Research at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Following her graduate education, Dr. Smith completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan, where she developed her clinical expertise in women’s health. She then pursued subspecialty training through a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Health, Detroit, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and advanced perinatal care. Dr. Smith’s academic background in psychology and clinical research, combined with her extensive training in obstetrics, gynecology, and maternal-fetal medicine, reflects her dedication to advancing maternal and neonatal outcomes through both patient care and research.
