Biography
Biography
An Nguyen, MD, is a critical care physician. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he was selected for and completed the Research Specialty Track and recognized for excellence in research and ultrasound. He then completed fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (WashU / Barnes-Jewish Hospital). Dr. Nguyen has authored and co-authored publications on topics including cannabis-related emergency department visits and outcomes for hypertensive patients. His clinical and academic interests include medical education, point-of-care ultrasound, resuscitation, procedures, and advancing research in critical care medicine.
