Biography

Naeem Khan, PhD is a Research Scientist at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. Dr. Khan completed undergraduate studies in chemistry and graduate studies in biotechnology at Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh, India. He received his doctoral degree in biotechnology from the University of Kashmir in Srinagar, India. His area of expertise and current interest are Innate immune responses against microbial pathogens, Host-pathogen interactions, age associated immune decline and microbial defense in the elderly, virulence factors identification for vaccine development, B1 cell and natural antibody, antigen-specific human monoclonal antibody and hybridoma development. Additional expertise in Epitome mapping (protein and carbohydrate) to engineered a superior vaccine, and Phage Display Library for epitope screening.
