Biography

Katherine McCollum, MD is a resident physician in the General Surgery Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, MD School of Medicine. Dr. McCollum received her dual BS degree in Microbiology and Evolutionary Anthropology from the University of Michigan. Dr. McCollum received her medical doctorate degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine. During medical school, she engaged in or lead numerous organizations that were closely tied in the community. Including working to organize a free community health fair for multiple years that served the public through easier access to care, supplies, and health information.
