Biography

Sohaib Mehroze Iqbal, MD, is a resident physician in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo. He earned his medical degree with distinction from Federal Medical College in Islamabad, Pakistan. After graduating, he completed a one-year internship at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), where he rotated through various specialties and provided frontline care in COVID-19 isolation wards during the height of the pandemic. Dr. Iqbal is dedicated to advancing health equity and has been actively involved in community outreach and volunteer efforts focused on underserved populations and health education.
