Biography

Syed Muhammad Abbas, MD, is a resident physician in the Family Medicine Residency Program – Kalamazoo at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. He has been actively involved in health education, mentorship, and community service, contributing to various outreach initiatives and public health programs. Dr. Abbas is particularly interested in advancing health equity and working toward reducing disparities in underserved communities. His professional interests include sports medicine, preventive care, community outreach, and medical education.
