Biography

Alyssa Engle, MD, is an Internal Medicine & Pediatric physician at Bronson Hospital. She was born and raised in southeast MI and is a graduate of Michigan State University, where she studied Neuroscience and Psychology. She went on to complete medical school at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and subsequently attended West Virginia University (WVU) for her Med-Peds residency, during which she also served as Chief Resident in her final year. She has a passion for working with underserved populations both locally and globally. This passion has led to her be involved with Global Health work over the years, achieving a Graduate Certificate in Global Medicine from the University of Utah and participating in the Global Health Track while at WVU. When not working, she enjoys spending time outside (especially with her dog, River).
