Biography

Biography

Thomas Koster, DO, is a forensic pathologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in integrative biology with a focus on human anatomy from the University of South Florida. He attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Vermont Medical Center, where he also served as the assistant medical director of autopsy department. He completed his forensic pathology fellowship at the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. His interests include autopsy and forensic pathology, infectious disease pathology, parasitology, and medical entomology.
