Biography

Mahmoud Nofal, MD is a pediatric resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He graduated from Hashemite University in Jordan in 2021. He completed his internship at Al-Basheer Hospital, gaining experience in various medical fields. In 2022, he commenced his pediatric residency at Prince Hamzah Hospital, affiliated with Hashemite University. During his residency, he taught the introductory course for fourth-year medical students in his home country. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in 2 major case reports at Prince Hamzah Hospital: 'Novel compound homozygous variants in the TAF6 gene in a patient with Alazami-Yuan syndrome' and 'Raoultella planticola urinary tract infection case study'.
