Biography

Maria Davis is a CRNA, currently working at RUSH University Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on a contract/per diem employment capacity. Her previous employers have always been major medical centers and teaching institutions in the Metro Detroit area and recently in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the University of Michigan Hospital System. She enjoys working with students, residents and precepting new employees at her work places. She completed her Bachelor’s of Nursing degree at University of Detroit Mercy in 1986. After working as an RN in the Detroit area hospitals for seven years, she attended U of D Mercy’s Graduate School of Nurse Anesthesiology and graduated in December 1992. Her other areas of interests are related to health and well-being activities such as meditation with singing bowls, yoga and photography.
