Biography

For over 20 years, Dr. Lim has been committed to providing exceptional urological care in Oakland County. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Michigan State University (MSU) College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at Bi-County Osteopathic Hospital in Warren, MI before completing his urology residency at Wayne State University. Dr. Lim continually increases his knowledge through courses and seminars. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgeons, is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association and the Michigan Urological Society. Dr. Lim has numerous publications and presentations to his credit and has served on numerous professional committees. He is dedicated to educating future generations of urologists, serving as Clinical Professor of Urology at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and Program Director of the MSU-Detroit Medical Center Urology Residency Program. His practice includes general urology with emphasis on prostate disease, kidney stones, male aging and testosterone abnormalities.
