Biography

Dr. Jeannette Uribe de Trejo received her Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Hidalgo Intituto de Ciencias de la Salud, Mexico. After completing her Medical Degree, Dr. Uribe attended a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Universidad de Guanajuato, Mexico and then completed a Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at BronxCare Health System in Bronx, New York. There she was appointed as Wellness Chief Resident, in charge of organizing monthly social events and other activities to foster team building. Dr. Uribe loves working as an OB/GYN provider because every day in the office looks different. β€œOne day can be easy and peaceful. The next, you are experiencing an adrenaline rush.” She is specifically interested in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and adolescents medicine. Dr. Uribe is passionate about different cultures and is committed to delivering care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of her patients. In collaboration with fellow doctors from around the world, Dr. Uribe has published two books (Doctoras con Alas and Migrating Physicians). Both books were written to help people – both physicians as well as migrants in general – find encouragement and feel motivated to achieve their dreams. Outside of work, Dr. Uribe loves spending time with her family. She enjoys going for walks, playing soccer with her sons, and enjoying a cup of coffee with her husband.
