Biography
Biography
Christine Bourgeois, DO, began her education at Michigan State University where she studied Nutritional Sciences, Bioethics, Humanities and Society as well as Spanish. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University. She completed residency in Family and Community Medicine with a fellowship in Primary Care Psychiatry from University of California, Davis. She is currently the Medical Director for the City of Kalamazoo Health and Wellness Center through Everside Health, providing Family and Occupational Medicine services to the City's employees and their families. She also provides hospice services as Associate Medical Director for Compassus Hospice in Kalamazoo. Her professional interests include lifestyle medicine, osteopathic manual medicine, psychiatry, women's health, and hospice and palliative care.
