Biography

Zafir Zohab Hussain Khan, MD, is a resident physician in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan, where he served shortly as a meritorious exchange student at Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar, Cornell University. Following graduation, Dr. Khan completed a year-long internship at Dr. Ruth K. M. Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi. He then worked in various clinical inpatient and ambulatory settings, meanwhile freelancing as a writer for wellness literature, fitness coach, and digital artist. Driven by a commitment to empowering underrepresented communities, he volunteered in underprivileged health sanctuaries and published articles on social wellness. Complementing his clinical pursuits, he is also an enthusiastic proponent of medical education and finds joy in teaching.
