Biography

Holly Yettaw Luts, MD, is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. She earned in bachelor of science from Western Michigan University then completed her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr Yettaw Luts remained in Detroit for her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the Detroit Medical Center then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) through the Montefiore Medical Center. Following fellowship Dr Yettaw Luts has held a number of roles at Montefiore including director of outpatient gynecology, chair of gynecology quality improvement, associate program director of the MIGS fellowship and residency site director. She will be returning home to Western Michigan to join the faculty as associate program director of the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine obstetrics and gynecology residency. She specializes in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and vaginal surgery for complex benign gynecologic conditions including fibroid, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, endometrial polyps and endometriosis with a focus on perioperative education and optimization.
