Biography

Monica Scarsella, DO, received her undergraduate degree at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Her graduate degree is from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed both Neurology residency and Vascular Neurology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio during which she received a Teacher Recognition Award from the Lerner College of Medicine. She currently works as a Vascular Neurologist at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include patient education, as well as stroke awareness and prevention.
