Biography

Francisco Costa Filho, MD, PhD, is a resident physician in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated from medical school at the Universidade Federal do Ceara, Brazil. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at Universidade Federal do Ceara Hospital, then pursued cardiology training at the Institute Dante Pazzanese of Cardiology, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He completed his PhD in Cardiovascular Epidemiology at the Univesity of Sao Paulo, Brazil. His clinical and research interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and epidemiology.
