Biography

Dikshita Poudel, MD, is a resident physician in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is originally from Nepal but grew up in Palmdale, California. She received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at University of California - Los Angeles, then went on the receive her masters in biomedical sciences at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois. She received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School and hopes to become a hospitalist physician. Her professional interests include providing quality healthcare to underserved populations as well as addressing global health inequities.
