Biography

Kenneth Liu, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon practicing with Bronson Neuroscience Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the Oregon Health and Science University and went on to complete a fellowship in neurointerventional surgery at the Dotter Interventional Institute in Portland, Oregon. Prior to moving to Kalamazoo, Dr. Liu held Associate Professor appointments at the University of Southern California, Penn State University, and the University of Virginia. He was also the Director of Neurovascular Surgery at the University of Virginia. His research interests include intracranial vascular pathology and is considered to be an international leader in the field of intracranial venous stenting.
