Biography
Tamara Prahlow, RN, CCH, is a board-certified professional homeopath and a licensed registered nurse. She is a graduate of Valparaiso University. She has remained active with post-baccalaureate education, obtaining a number of clinical specialty certifications as well as group facilitator titles in preventative health. She earned a DHSM from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. Her hospital nursing background is well-rounded from emergency, labor and birth, post-surgical cardiothoracic transplant, cardiac step-down, cardiac cath lab/x-ray department, general floor nursing, and childbirth education. She has studied homeopathy for over ten years in the US and abroad including Canada and Great Britain.
Ms. Prahlow maintains an affiliation with the Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth is both as a Medical Advisor and an independent parent instructor for the 12-class series. She is self-employed as a birth attendant/doula, as a 12-class private birth educator, and as a board-certified classical homeopath (CCH) in Portage, Michigan. Since she opened her practice, she has led monthly study groups for professional midwives and other interested individuals. She volunteers for Americans for Homeopathy Choice.
