Lisa Leininger, PsyD, is a psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia. She earned her doctoral degree from the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology. She wrote her thesis on "Factors Affecting the Interpretation of the Adolescent MMPI". She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in infancy and early childhood psychology with the University of Michigan Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital. She has taught at both the University of Michigan and with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
Prior to joining WMed, Dr. Leininger served as Director of Psychological Testing Service for University of Michigan Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital, Program Director of Outpatient Psychological Services and Partial Hospital Program at Oaklawn Hospital, Psychiatric Services Program Director for Oaklawn Hospital, and Behavioral Health Solutions Director of Clinical Operations for Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. She has been active with committee and administrative work, currently serving as President of the Association of Behavioral Health Michigan.
