Neil Hughes, MD, is the assistant dean for simulation at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan. He became a licensed paramedic at Kalamazoo Valley Community College prior to earning his medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in medical simulation with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine as well. Dr. Hughes' clinical, teaching and research interests include medical simulation, hospital medicine, and emergency medical services.
