Biography

Biography

Anoop Takher, D.O., M.J. is an adult, child, and forensic psychiatrist. He is a graduate of Campbell University School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Rush University Medical Center and his Forensic Psychiatry fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Takher also attained his Master of Jurisprudence in Children's Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Dr. Takher has a variety of clinical experiences, including correctional psychiatry through the Michigan Department of Corrections, as well as inpatient, consult-liaison, and emergency psychiatry through Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. His clinical, teaching, and research interests include medical education and forensic child psychiatry. Dr. Takher is currently board-certified in Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
