Biography

Biography

Robert N. Winter, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist. He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Psychology from the University of Michigan. He then went on to graduate from the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed a transitional internship at Oakland Naval Hospital, after which he was assigned to the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Number 4 in Port Hueneme, California.

After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Dr. Winter returned to Michigan where he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Following graduation from residency, he worked in Jackson, Michigan, for one year prior to moving to Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was a member of the Borgess Women’s Health practice for several years, where he was chief of the Department of Ob/Gyn from 2009-2012. He is currently practicing in both South Haven and Kalamazoo, Michigan as an obstetrician and gynecologist with Bronson Women's Services.
