Biography
Michael Sharghi MD is an anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in cardiothoracic anesthesiology. He received his bachelor of science in biology from the University of California Los Angeles. He completed his medical training at American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Penn State University Medical Center in Hershey, PA and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. After completion of his medical training he began working for Kalamazoo Anesthesiology as a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist and is currently a clinical assistant professor at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. His professional interests include medical education and perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.
