Biography

Silvia T. Linares, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her MD from the Universidad del Rosario Facultad de Medicina in 1993. She completed her Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2007. Dr. Linares was involved in student and resident education from 2009 to 2015. She was Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director of the OBGYN LBJGH Residency Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and Obstetrics Practice Leader and Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Her clinical and teaching areas of interest include access to care, collaborative work with mid level providers, maternal obesity, gestational diabetes, and office gynecology and procedures.
