Matthew Zarantonello, PhD, is full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. He previously worked for over three decades as a clinical psychologist at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, where he held general clinical privileges as member of Medical Staff as well as specialty privileges in neuropsychology.
Dr. Zarantonello was awarded his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a fully licensed psychologist in Michigan and Indiana, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Assessment Psychology.
Dr. Zarantonello was a consulting editor for the journal Psychological Assessment for over a decade. He has also authored and co-authored scholarly research pertaining to psychology and neuropsychology in peer reviewed journals of the American Psychological Association (APA). He was a recipient of the Professional Service Award from the Association of VA Psychology Leaders (AVAPL), a national award for excellence in the therapeutic care of veterans that is awarded to a single psychologist annually in the VA System.
