William Selde, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana, where he also serves as Medical Director of EMS and Transport Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his emergency medicine residency with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He has also completed a fellowship in emergency medical services with the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition to his board certification in emergency medicine, Dr. Selde also holds a board certification in emergency medical services.
In addition to his role with Billings Medicine, Dr. Selde serves as Medical Director of American Medical Response Billings and Yellowstone National Park.
Dr. Selde is the current chairman of the air medical committee of the National Association of EMS Physicians, and occasionally writes articles for JEMS.
