Biography

David Riddle, PhD, is the former Assistant Dean for Foundations of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. After 12 years with WMed, he retired from his position on June 30, 2026. Dr. Riddle is a graduate of University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and earned his doctorate in neurosciences from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition, he completed two postdoctoral fellowships at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
