Jerry Pratt, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with Borgess Heart Institute in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a graduate of University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed a general surgery residency while in the military from Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, Texas. While completing his general surgery residency, he also completed a research fellowship in cardiopulmonary physiology with The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, he completed an additional residency in cardiothoracic surgery, also from The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
