Biography

Biography

Michael Peikert, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with Kalamazoo Emergency Associates. He is a graduate of University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed a transitional internship in categorical medicine at Hutzel Hospital, then completed an emergency medicine residency at Detroit General Hospital, both also in Detroit.

Dr. Peikert has research and clinical interest in primary care, medical administration, undergraduate and graduate medical education, med-evac helicopter transport, radio communications, and disaster planning.
