Biography

Dr. Dilip Patel is a Professor and The Chair of the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Department. He is employed by Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics with specialties in Adolescent Medicine, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Sports Medicine. He is a graduate of Sardar Patel University with a BS in Organic Chemistry in May 1974. He also has a MB, BS from Kamataka University with a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery in May 1980. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in 1988. He also completed a Fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Ambulatory Pediatrics in May 1989. He received a MBA in Medical Management, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst - Isenberg School of Management in May 2013. He has a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Health also from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014. He has an MPH in Public Health Practice and Global Health also from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016.
