Joshua Mastenbrook, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He also earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. After completing his residency, Dr. Mastenbrook stayed on at WMed and pursued a fellowship in emergency medical services, also obtaining board certification in that field.
Dr. Mastenbrook serves as Program Director for the WMed EMS Fellowship Program. He also is the Medical Director of Allegan County Medical Control Authority, the Associate Medical Director of Kalamazoo County Medical Control Authority, the Medical Officer for the Richland Township Fire Department, and had served on several State of MI committees, include the State Trauma Advisory Committee and the MI Transportable Emergency Surge Assistance Committee.
