Biography

Mahesh C. Karamchandani, M.D., is a Colon and Rectal Surgeon certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, the American Board of Surgery, and the American Board of Laser Surgery. He did his internship and residence in General Surgery at Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia. Following this, he did fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown, PA.

Dr. Karamchandani is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, and belongs to the Michigan State Medical Society, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. He maintains full admitting privileges at Bronson Battle Creek, Oaklawn Hospital, Bronson Methodist Hospital, and Borgess Medical Center. Dr. Karamchandani is a receipient of the 2007 AMA Foundation Leadership Award, the 2008 Michigan State Medical Society Community Service Award, and the 2011 Dale G. Griffin Healthcare Leadership Award.
