Biography

Dr. Anna Hoekstra is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology within the Department of Surgical Sciences. She is a Board Certified Gynecologic Oncologist. She is employed with The West Michigan Cancer Center. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BS in Biology in June 1996. She also has a MS in Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health in June 1998. She earned her MD from Rush University Medical Center in June 2002. She completed a Residency in Gynecologic Oncology with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2004. She also completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in June 2006. She also completed a Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in June 2009.
