Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clerkship.
PEDS 8110 provides the core pediatric educational experience that is taken by all third year medical students. This course exposes students to both inpatient and ambulatory aspects of pediatrics.
TRAN 9100

Transition to Advanced Clinical Management.
This transitional course occurs between core clerkships and advanced sub-internships and electives that students take during their last year of medical school. This course includes preparation for emergency medicine and critical care patient management as well as a multistation OSCE event.

Transitions to Clinical Applications.
Transition to Clinical Applications provides the bridge between foundations of medicine and the clinical application of medical knowledge. The course begins with a comprehensive summative examination over years 1-2. Focus quickly shifts to preparing students to thrive in the clinical setting. Students participate in BLS recertification and procedural skills assessment. Students participate in simulation, group-based workshops and discussions to prepare for the Clinical Applications phase of the curriculum.
