Biography

Dr. Bedi is a board-certified Psychiatrist who is currently the chief medical officer at Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK). Prior to migrating to the United States, he had earned a diploma in Children Health and a master’s degree in Pediatrics. As a part of his master’s degree, he wrote a thesis on “clinical pathological correlation of immunochemical studies of nephrotic syndrome as an aid in the treatment with cyclophosphamide. “ Prior to his current job at ISK, he worked as chief of clinical affairs at Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital. In addition to the board certification in Psychiatry, he has a “certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in Forensic Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Adolescent Psychiatry.” Dr. Bedi has also worked as an Assistant Researcher Officer for Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) and has published on Nephrotic Syndrome in children. He has served as an examiner for oral Board exams for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has also been an Assistant Clinical Professor with MSU and Kalamazoo Center for Medical Education in the 1980’s. He has assisted in development of the Psychiatric Residency Program and has been instrumental in achieving ACGME accreditation.
