Biography

Amanda Mitchell, PA-C is a physician assistant. She is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago 2004 where she received her B.S. in dietetics with a minor in Chemistry. She then went on to a combined dietetic internship with Masters studies in Human Nutrition at Michigan State University 2007. Following graduation, she practiced as a clinical dietitian and subsequently became certified as a Nutrition Support Clinician 2008. She practiced dietetics with TPN and tubefeeding management for surgical and oncology patients. It was during this position that she wanted to be able to do more for the patient as a whole. She went on to Physician Assistant school at Wayne State University 2013. She is currently practicing as a physician assistant at Ascension Borgess Cancer Center where she has practiced since 2019.
