Biography

Biography

Joshua VanderWall, MD received his undergraduate degree from Calvin University with dual degrees in psychology and biology. He completed his MD at Michigan State University, and residency training in Family Medicine at In His Image Family Practice residency, with special recognition for completion of the OB and Procedures track. He subsequently received board certification from the ABFM. He then completed a one-year fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the Alteon-Health Post Primary Care Emergency Medicine Fellowship and completed board certification in Emergency Medicine. Dr. VanderWall has been active in Emergency Medicine with the Sparrow health system in SE Michigan and is also active with clinical medicine with Bronson Physician Partners in Richland, MI. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. VanderWall devotes time to international and mission medicine projects, specifically working with the SOHADAR hospital in Lamjung, Nepal.
