Biography

Michael Bentley, MPA, CCEMTP, IC, is an EMS clinical coordinator at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University prior to completing a Master's Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Emergency Services Management, also from Columbia Southern University. He currently retains the position of EMS Clinical Coordinator for the Allegan, Van Buren and Kalamazoo County EMS Medical Control Authorities through Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Prior to his current position, Mr. Bentley served as a Critical Care Paramedic and Instructor Coordinator for a non profit ambulance service in both an urban and rural environment. He also spent over ten years as a lab clinician and adjunct faculty member of the Kalamazoo Valley Community College EMS Program.
