Biography

Lubaina Ehsan, MD, is a resident physician in the Pediatrics Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She graduated from the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant from 2019 to 2021 at the University of Virginia. She worked on various projects involving computational artificial intelligence-based analysis, omics, and clinical metadata to drive innovations in diagnosis and possible treatment modalities for various gastrointestinal and global health diseases. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include global health and maternal and child health. She plans on pursuing a fellowship in pediatric cardiology.
