Biography

Nourhan Bayoumy Shafeey, MBBCh, is a resident physician in the Pediatric Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She received her medical degree from Cairo University, School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt, in 2017. After finishing her intern year in Cairo, she earned a Masters of Health Management at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada, graduating in 2020. Prior to graduation, Nourhan served in many community outreach programs to serve underserved areas. Her current clinical, research, and service interests include general pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, neonatology, and community outreach.
