Biography

Edward Lanigan, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with Lakeland Wound Clinic in Niles, Michigan. He is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his surgical residency at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also completed a further residency in plastic surgery at Northwestern University Medical School, as well as a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine until 2016, when he retired from the university to work part-time for Lakeland Wound Clinic.
