Biography

Elizabeth Pope, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and local recovery coordinator with the Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. She is a graduate of Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned both a master's degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.

In her role of local recovery coordinator, Dr. Pope is responsible for facilitating implementation of recovery oriented services, such as provider education, patient education, and community education. She is also responsible for recovery awareness initiatives. She serves as lead for the Battle Creek VAMC's Peer Support Specialists, responsible for job analysis, specialist education, and writing performance and task descriptions. She also serves as programming coordinator for the Wellness and Recovery Center.
