Biography

Dr. Juanita Moses grew up in Michigan, and graduated from Andrews University with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, with honors. She then graduated with her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, where she earned the Robert F. Chinnock Award for pediatrics, and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

During her career, Dr. Moses has had the opportunity to work in both outpatient general pediatrics and outpatient general dermatology. In these roles, she enjoyed providing compassionate care for her patients, in addition to mentoring other practitioners, residents and students.

She then joined Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor, to continue pursuing her passion.

Dr. Moses has special interests in pediatric dermatology, mental health, medical education and health equity.
