Biography

Maureen Ford, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services. She is a graduate of Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Ford's professional interests include interventions for ED patients with complex social and psychiatric needs, improving ED evaluation of dizzy patients, resident and physician wellness, and gender and racial bias in medicine. She also serves in elected office as a member of the Mattawan Consolidated School Board of Education.
